Brinklow, Rugby

Full-Home Interior Design Project

This full-home interior design project in the village of Brinklow, just outside Rugby, focused on creating a calm, characterful family home that balanced traditional features with modern comfort. The owners wanted a more cohesive feel across their main living spaces, along with practical updates to better suit the needs of a busy household.

Working closely with the clients, Harriet redesigned this grade two listed home, including the kitchen, living areas, bathrooms, bedrooms, boot room, and a teen study. The kitchen was given a fresh new identity with hand-painted cabinetry, a spacious island, and thoughtful storage. Personal touches, such as an upholstered window seat and a floral headboard in the bedroom, added charm and softness throughout the home.

In the bathroom, a bold blue double vanity anchors the space, while encaustic-style tiles and a freestanding tub create a luxurious, relaxed atmosphere. The boot room now blends utility with style, featuring navy panelled joinery and natural flooring for durability.

Design elements such as botanical wallpapers, layered textures, and warm lighting enhance each room’s identity while keeping the home’s overall aesthetic consistent and timeless. The result is a home that feels lived-in, loved, and unmistakably theirs.
